Durham University Rugby Football Club, founded in 1875, is one of the most successful university rugby teams in the UK. We have produced countless international players including the likes of Will Greenwood and Will Carling. Our club is dedicated to fostering a love of rugby among our members and representing our university with pride. Come join us on the field and be part of our legacy.
APPLYING IN 2024?
We would be delighted to hear from students who may be interested in joining DURFC. We can provide 1-1 meetings (Zoom / Telephone) regarding the rugby programme and personalised visits and scholarship advice.
Here it is worth noting that we have monitoring systems in place which enable us to support UCAS applications from top class rugby players who also meet the demanding entry requirements of the University – so the earlier we know of student interest the earlier we can help them
